The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® introduces the Pomegranate Fru-Tea™ Ice Blended® drink and features a variety of pomegranate-flavored beverages
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® is all about antioxidant-rich pomegranates this spring. Starting February 28, the Los Angeles-based specialty coffee and tea retailer introduces the limited-edition Pomegranate Fru-Tea™ Ice Blended® drink, the third flavor in its proprietary Fru-Tea™ Ice Blended® beverage category. In addition, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® will extend the newest flavor to its line of quality teas with the Pomegranate Blueberry Tea. Rounding out the seasonal offering are customer favorites, the Pomegranate Blueberry Tea Latte and Pomegranate Blueberry Ice Blended® drink.

The retailer brings its teas to the forefront with the Pomegranate Fru-Tea™ Ice Blended® drink, Pomegranate Blueberry Tea Latte and Pomegranate Blueberry Tea.
The Pomegranate Fru-Tea™ Ice Blended® drink is a blend of real pomegranate juice, black tea and ice. A lighter alternative to The Original Ice Blended® drinks, this fat-free and lactose-free beverage comes in 16-ounce and 24-ounce servings for $4.50 and $5.50 respectively.
Latte lovers will enjoy the Pomegranate Blueberry Tea Latte on breezy spring evenings. Made with The Coffee Bean® special hand blend of Pomegranate Blueberry Tea, steamed milk and proprietary French Deluxe™ vanilla powder, the popular permanent menu item comes in 12-ounce, 16-ounce and 20-ounce servings for $3.35, $3.85 and $4.05 respectively.
The Pomegranate Blueberry Tea can also be enjoyed at home. The tea combines The Coffee Bean® Lung Ching Dragonwell green tea and premium Oolong and Ceylon Teas to create a unique brisk tea with subtle berry notes and a sweet finish. Flavored with the juicy sweet taste of blueberries and the sour-tart flavor of pomegranates, the Pomegranate Blueberry Tea is perfect for iced tea or a tea latte. It is available as a tin of loose leaf teas or 20 tea bags for $10.20.
The Pomegranate Blueberry Ice Blended® drink rounds out the spring drink offering and by popular demand has been a permanent menu item at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® since its introduction in 2004. French Deluxe™ vanilla powder and 100% pure pomegranate blueberry juice are blended together with ice and topped with a dollop of whipped cream to create a smooth pomegranate blueberry finish. Also available in a calorie-conscious version using the proprietary non-fat sugar-free powder, the drink comes in 16-ounce and 24-ounce servings for $4.50 and $5.50 respectively.
