How do I order?

Call us toll free within the United States (1-800-TEA-LEAF option #1 or 1-800-832-5323 option #1) Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00pm Pacific Time. If you are calling from outside the United States please call 805-987-0894. Please have your credit card ready before calling.

Are your coffees available in all grinds?
With the exception of our Flavored Coffees (which are available pre-ground only at grind 7 for drip makers) and Limited Edition Coffees (which are available in whole bean only), all of our coffees are available in an assortment of grinds. While selecting the coffee of your choice, you will be able to select from the following grinds: Whole Bean, Turkish = 1, Espresso = 3, Drip (Cone) = 5, Drip (Basket) = 6, Drip = 7, Percolator = 8, French Press = 8, Toddy = 9.
 
Can I purchase e-gift cards on your web site?
Unfortunately, at this time, we do not offer “e-gift cards.” We do, however, offer The Coffee Bean® Gift Card which can be purchased or reloaded on-line, and by ordering through 1-800-TEA-LEAF.
 
I was referred to you because I need low-acid coffee and/or tea. Where can I find that on your website?
Currently of the coffees and teas that we offer, we don't actually have anything that would be certified low-acid. In the past, however, the ICA (Interstitial Cystitis Association) has referred their patients to our Decaf coffees and some of our Decaf teas. If you are interested in receiving some samples of our Decaf products, please feel free to contact our E-commerce department at 1-800-832-5323 option #1, and we would be glad to help!
 
What is your return policy?
If you are not 100% satisfied with a product, we will exchange it or refund the amount of the product (excluding shipping charges). Unopened merchandise may be exchanged for any reason within thirty days of the order date. Custom ground coffee is non-returnable unless you are unsatisfied with the quality. Please call us toll free at 1-800-832-5323 to obtain a return authorization. Products shipped to 3rd party shipper and/or freight forward house are considered final sale products and cannot be returned or exchanged.
 
What if my order is incorrect or damaged?
If you receive an order that is incorrect or the product you received is damaged, please contact our office at 1-800-832-5323 within thirty days of the order date. A refund or replacement will only be issued upon our receipt of the damaged or incorrect products. In the event that a return shipment is authorized for the incorrect or damaged product, we will only be responsible for the return shipping & handling cost from the original ship-to address, via UPS ground shipping. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is not responsible for any shipping expenseps incurred outside of the original business transaction. Products shipped to 3rd party shipper and/or freight forward house are not qualified for return or exchange under any circumstance.

Which shipping carrier do you use?
We offer domestic shipping through UPS.
 
When is my order shipped?
Orders are processed Monday through Friday and will be shipped within 2 business days if orders were placed before 1:00pm Pacific Time. You will be contacted if an item is out of stock and shipment will be delayed. Orders are shipped via UPS within the continental U.S. unless otherwise stated and we do not offer Saturday deliveries. Please provide a physical shipping address for deliveries. Call for shipments to P.O. boxes and international addresses. It usually takes 5-7 business days for your order to be delivered via UPS Ground.
 
Do you ship outside of the United States?
Yes, but due to various customs restrictions in each country regarding the entry of our products we are unable to ship to every location. If you would like to place an order with a shipping address outside of the U.S. please contact us at 805-987-0894 (U.S.A.) or eCommerce@coffeebean.com. We will confirm that the products you are ordering are permitted to enter the country of your shipping address and we will provide you with a shipping quote prior to charging your credit card.
 
Can I ship to an address that is different from my billing address?
Yes! When going through the checkout process you will be asked to enter in your billing address. At the bottom of this page, there will be a box that is pre-checked “THIS IS ALSO MY SHIPPING ADDRESS.” If this box remains checked, your order will be shipped to your billing address. If you uncheck this box, the next page will provide you with the opportunity to enter in a shipping address.
 
I want my order to be sent as a gift directly to the recipient. How can I do that?
When going through the checkout process, after entering in your billing address and recipient’s shipping address, the website will take you to the Shipping Options page. At the bottom of this page, you can select “include gift message.” If checked, you will be provided the chance to enter in a gift message for each item ordered. When the order is shipped out, the recipient will receive an invoice containing your gift message and a list of the items sent (excluding prices). A copy of the invoice (including prices) will be sent directly to the billing address for your records.
 
What do you do with my personal information?
We protect the privacy of our customers and therefore we do not sell your personal information to outside companies. Other information provided to us (quality of service, product, suggestions, etc.) is utilized by various departments to help improve the quality of the service, product and environment that we provide to our customers.
