On terraces as high up 4,500 feet above the breathtaking Wahgi Valley, the coffee here is shade grown beneath Casuarina and Albizzia trees which, together with the valley's Eucalyptus trees, provide a thriving ecosystem for the Wahgi Valley's colorful native birds, including Rainbow Lorikeets, Honeyeaters, Helmeted Friarbirds, Brown Falcons, Brush Cuckoos, and Willie Wagtails. The diversity of the Sigri Estate's vibrant natural life is testament to its commitment to conservation and protecting the environment, something that most estates around the world cannot lay claim to.
