This interest form is designed to help us with the initial background information to evaluate your qualifications as a potential franchisee of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf®. The completion and submission of this questionnaire does not obligate either party in any manner.
What we seek in area developers are the financial and operational abilities to develop and operate all the stores within a given market. The number of stores to be opened in a particular market should be commensurate with the marketplace, competition, population, and relevant demographics. The business requires (but is not limited to) the ability to achieve brand recognition and customer loyalty as a function of significant market presence; along with economies of scale, this is critical for success in the specialty coffee and tea retail sector and for success for our franchisees.
FRANCHISEE REQUIREMENTS
We prefer to work with franchisees who can deliver:
Franchise Network
The ability to source 'A' locations through their local network and community.
Experience
Previous food and beverage experience.
Operating Experience
Previous multi-unit operating experience, preferably in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) arena
Capitalization
Significant capitalization and net worth to obtain a leading market position within the first 5-year period of operation.
Liquidity
$250,000 liquidity per unit, minimum 3 unit commitment* (unit commitment excludes non-traditional locations, such as airports, universities, etc.)
