OUR L.A. ROOTS
Founded by Herbert Hyman in 1963, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf opened its first store in Brentwood, Los Angeles, aiming to bring the best global coffee and tea to Southern California. Known for quality and excellence, they quickly became pioneers in California's gourmet coffee scene. Today, the core philosophy remains the same: crafting hand-made beverages with pride, from seed to cup.
Our L.A. Espresso celebrates the diverse and vibrant city with an iconic blend that has been at the core of all our cafe brews for the last 60 years.
We curate five different Origins, roast them individually to six different profiles and then blend.
The result is our unique, bold yet smooth espresso blend.

Our L.A. Brew is our go-to brewed coffee and is based on our iconic L.A. Espresso.
We take the same five coffee origins, roast them individually to six different profiles and then blend - only in this case we do a Medium roast.
Embodying the spirit of L.A., this is a smooth yet complex blend that is extremely versatile and can be used for all your daily brews - morning, afternoon or even at night.
We have a feeling this roast will be just as iconic, worthy of the title "The L.A. Brew".
