Returns & Exchanges


At The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf®, we strive to ensure the complete satisfaction of our online and in-store Guests.

If you have questions about how to brew or if you are dissatisfied with your order for any reason, please contact our Customer Support team here for assistance. Eligible purchases may be covered under our Returns & Exchanges policy.


ONLINE STORE purchases orders cannot be returned to our physical cafe locations but our Customer Support team is always happy to help.

To initiate a return, exchange, or a refund, please visit us here within 30 days of purchase to request an RMA#.

Some refunds or exchanges may require return of the product at our discretion. For any approved returns, we will provide an RMA # and shipping address. A return label may be provided for damaged or defective items. Any returns mailed without a valid RMA# will be rejected and returned at the customer’s expense.

If a refund is approved, the order will be refunded to the original form of payment less adjustments for shipping and handling. Returns are processed within 21 days of the mailing date, and refunds can be expected within 7 business days of processing. ships to U.S. addresses only. Orders transported outside the U.S. following delivery to a U.S. address are not eligible for refund, return, or replacement.


Order Cancelation Policy: orders may be canceled between 8am-3pm on weekdays only. If you wish to cancel your order, contact us here as promptly as possible. A $5.99 restocking fee may be assessed in some instances. If you wish to cancel an order that is already on a truck to your shipping address, we may not be able to cancel your order. If this is the case, we will refer you to our Returns Policy.


In-Store purchases

Unused, undamaged, non-expired retail items purchased at our café locations may be returned to any of our cafés for a refund or even exchange with presentation of the original purchase receipt.

Behind-the-bar drinks, bakery items, cold case, and impulse items may be remade, replaced, or refunded same-visit with proof of purchase.

Orders placed at cannot be refunded in-store.




Brew equipment purchased through or our authorized sellers including may be eligible for warranty exchange after the 30 day Returns & Exchanges window has expired. Warranty terms vary.


CBTL Single Serve Coffee, Tea, and Espresso Makers and CBTL One-Touch Electric Frothers are covered by a one-year limited warranty; Spare parts are not available at this time.
